The Morrigan

takes many forms in Celtic lore: a beautiful young woman dressed in gold, a vengeful old crone, a sleek black raven, but most often she appears as a brilliant red haired warrior in a blood red cloak who dazzles all who see her.

In battle she is invincible and in love she is self assured.

Few are the men who can resist her, and those she can usually outwit.

Each goddesses is a fascinating study and a part of our history too often forgotten. For more information check out some related links  and some recommended books.
