Innana Garden Goddess

Innana wears the
rainbow as a necklace, the zodiac as her belt, and rides on the
backs of lions. I've tried to capture all those lovely elements. The deep blue glass is iridescent, stars grace her waist, and
lions sit at her feet.
Made of double thick, transparent glass
and hand-painted with kiln fired gold paint, she glows in the sunlight.
Hang her either on a
shepherds hook or from a chain.
Approx. 2 feet tall.
ING Innana Sculpture $160.00
Innana,
Sumerian Queen of Heaven, is clothed with the stars,
wear the rainbow as her necklace and the zodiac as
her belt. She stands on the backs of lions
teaching justice to her people. She
appoints rulers and cares for the weak.
Her Priestesses collected and distributed food, ending
hunger, and taught the sanctity of life's creative
process.
Innana
reaches for the stars. Though her head is in
the clouds it never blinds her to the need and
injustice before her. She symbolizes the
feminine ability to achieve greatness, by striving
to care for those in need and create a more just
world.
